My baby seems to be uncomfortable around males. Why is it so?

It is common for adopted babies to seem uncomfortable around men. This is mainly due to the fact that most ‘first homes’ have only female employees who care for the babies. Thus, the babies are not used to being around men.

Your baby will gradually learn that men are also a part of their lives and will slowly begin to accept them. However, it is advisable to take one day at a time, giving your baby sufficient time to adjust to the men around.
